Discover Regional Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills, meet new people and gain valuable experience that you can take into your future career. Yet often connecting with an organisation to explore opportunities, can prove a major hurdle.

On Saturday 29th September, the Social Care Exchange will be hosting a Volunteering Expo from 10am-2pm, to bring together regional organisations looking for volunteers. Come and meet with a wide range of charities and explore the variety of roles available.

Volunteering is one of the most rewarding things you can do. Having a real and tangible impact on the lives of others, as well as meeting new people can have really positive mental health benefits. By challenging yourself to try something different you can also achieve personal goals, practice using your skills and discover hidden talents. And possibly most importantly you will be doing something you love and have great fun!

The Volunteering Expo will have a range of stands, representing local and national charities - enabling you to chat to their representatives, learn more about the important work they do and how you can get involved.

There will also be the opportunity to develop your skills in specialist workshops and listen to inspiring speakers throughout the event. Stay in touch to hear more as the full line-up is announced.
