Welcome to Lincoln’s new Social Care Exchange

We’re looking forward to welcoming local businesses, charities and community groups to the official opening of The Social Care Exchange on November 30th.

The Social Care Exchange – Opening November 30th 2016.

The Social Care Exchange is an innovative hub for the health and social care sector in Lincolnshire, promoting excellence and raising standards in care through improved training, knowledge sharing and specialist recruitment.

The Social Care Exchange will be officially opened by the Mayor of Lincoln Councillor Yvonne Bodger at 1pm on November 30th.  Interested businesses and community groups are invited to the launch which runs from 12:30 until 3.00pm. HFHC Midlands will also be holding a recruitment event on the same day from 5:00 until 7:00pm with jobseekers and employers all welcome.

Every Family has a Health or Social Care Story

Behind this new initiative is a family that has already invested more than £18 million into the county, employing almost 400 people.  Paul, Ann and Hugo de Savary have developed award-winning specialist care homes and their latest venture demonstrates their ongoing commitment to improving the care sector.

Events to support a growing community

The team at the Social Care Exchange is developing a wide ranging events programme including networking events, local parent support group meetings, recruitment evenings, sector development forums and SEN School transition events, amongst others.

Paul de Savary said: “What unites all of us is that every family has a health and social care story, and it is our intention that the Social Care Exchange will inform and help families and community groups, support those working in the care industry and encourage businesses to enhance and develop their services.

The Social Care Exchange – a dynamic space

Catering for anything up to 50 people, the Social Care Exchange houses conference and meeting rooms, training rooms, exhibition spaces and breakout areas, all of which are available for hire. Prices range from just £10 per hour for meeting rooms, £15 per hour for training rooms and £20 per hour for flexible exhibition and training spaces for up to 50 people.

Fully serviced offices will bring like-minded businesses together under the same roof. Ben Glitherow, Managing Director of HFHC Midlands said: “The Social Care Exchange offers us attractive, professional and flexible spaces for all our business needs, from conducting 1:1 interviews, to our monthly management meetings, to hosting clients for networking events. We meet many interesting businesses coming through the door, and there’s a real feeling of being at the forefront of our industry.
