Profile: CentredTherapies By Carolyn Hodson

“It just felt right.” Said Carolyn, after touring the Social Care Exchange. She knew it was the ideal environment to base her successful massage therapy business, CentredTherapies.

As a unique resource centre, Carolyn was attracted by the Social Care’s flexible business facilities in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The building’s location in an established commercial area off the Doddington Road, in the south-western quadrant of Lincoln is another appeal – making her new base easily accessible.

Carolyn is offering a range of massage therapy and complementary treatments to clients from a relaxing and luxurious therapy space inside the Social Care Exchange. Treating patients holistically by identifying the source of problems and tension, Carolyn uses a range of techniques to meet each client’s needs.

A warmed bed allows any tense muscles to relax before the massage even begins and then using scented oils, Carolyn uses a variety of massage techniques to leave you feeling calm and relaxed.

Carolyn believes in the benefits of touch and its ability to re-balance you alongside the obvious physical benefits of massage. Her caring nature and passion flow into her work, she doesn’t consider it a job but is enthused by focusing entirely on her clients and meeting their needs.

CentredTherapies specialises in Swedish massage and pregnancy massage and also offers a range of massage services including deep tissue massage, Indian head massage, reflexology and baby massage classes.

“Massage can be an important part of self-care, taking ‘time for me’, not just to solve a problem or pain.”
