LN6 Networking Event

The Social Care Exchange was delighted to host the first LN6 Networking meeting of 2018 last week. The event provided a fantastic opportunity for local business people to come together, make contacts and discuss partnership opportunities.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the Social Care Exchange, Hugo de Savary, Social Care Exchange Director and founder of Home From Home Care, described the motivation to create an aspirational venue - aiming to raise the perception of the social care sector as well as provide an important central support hub for the community.

Hugo highlighted the valuable impact the Social Care Exchange is having already, supporting charities through its Robin Hood ethos.  Plans for the future were also discussed – including the impact this centre will have, with the support from local businesses, to develop a lifeline to groups of individuals such as carers and parents because ‘Everyone has a Health and Social Care story’.

The event proved a great opportunity for business connections to develop. Delegates also had the opportunity to view the facilities available for hire at the Social Care Exchange, including the range of spacious meeting rooms, training rooms and conference space.
