If you are a carer, find out what benefits you may be entitled to on Monday 23rd April

Caring responsibilities can lead to financial difficulties - having to give up work to care for a loved one and managing on benefits. It can also prove challenging getting support to adapt your home, or attaining support for your child at school or college, as well as understanding and claiming for benefits you may be entitled to.

The ‘system’ can seem quite overwhelming - there are benefits just for carers, some for people with a disability, and some to help you if you have a low income.

Come and find out some answers at the Social Care Exchange on Monday 23rd April  at our Learning Disability focussed community event. Tim Beaumont, Department of Work and Pensions Visiting Officer, will be on hand throughout the informal evening, to answers your queries and offer advice and support.

Drop in for a coffee and a chat between 6-7 pm at the Social Care Exchange, just off Doddington Road, to learn more.
