Healthcare Jobs & Career Advice during Health Information Week
Learn more about working in Health & Social Care Sector at the Social Care Exchange on Wednesday 4th July, 6-7pm at our special Health Information Week event.
With the opportunity to meet both in-house and agency recruiters, the event offer the chance to discover the variety of roles and opportunities available within the healthcare sector.
Our in-house recruiters offer opportunities for full time roles working with adults with learning disabilities, with progression opportunities and exemplary training. If you are interested in more flexible ways of working, our agency recruiters are looking for dedicated, experienced and skilled care workers to provide excellent support to their clients across Lincolnshire, working with older adults, those with mental health needs and learning disabilities. Flexible roles may be particularly suitable if you are studying, or have care responsibilities giving you the opportunity to choose your own schedule.
The health and care sector currently employs 24,000 people across Lincolnshire, with scope for excellent career opportunities and growth. The sector is diverse – from roles such as nursing which require professional qualifications to support and maintenance teams which require vocational (work related) qualifications.
If you are just beginning your career in care, the importance of your personal attributes – ability to work as part of a team, willingness to learn and a genuine care for others - will be key to success in landing you a role. You may have developed relevant experience by caring for a loved one or have a keen interest in health.
Come and speak to the recruitment team to learn more about your options and how you can build your skills and experience to progress your career. For those who are ready to take the plunge right away, you can interview during the event – no need to bring along a CV, just be ready to answer some questions about yourself and your work history.
We look forward to welcoming you to this event, being held 6-7 pm on Wednesday 4th July at the Social Care Exchange, just off Doddington Road.
